Now if you look at the following two incorrect solutions there are 14 squares but in these cases the removed squares aren't in the shape as they appear on the board (i.e. As you can see in the picture the total area of the yellow squares would be 16 but as there is 2 blue squares the area becomes 14. According to Panel 4 under the yellow pond ( Solution) the Blue Squares remove squares for the yellow tetromino shapes. This pertains to the tetrominoes puzzles found mainly in the Swamp area. I think I've found some inconsistent logic in some puzzles and I was hoping someone could confirm or explain how I'm misunderstanding the ruleset.
